The hundred-year void. The truth about the sinking world:
The Gorousei continues to neutralize all the Den Den Mushi on the island, until Nusjuro decides to go further and launches an attack that cuts the floating island in half, freeing the Seraphim and government agents who were being held in the basement. As Vegapunk continues to talk about the war not being over yet, Imu observes a painting of a woman who resembles Vivi. Vegapunk reveals that in his quest for unlimited energy he created the Mother Flame, but a part of it was stolen and later used as fuel for the “Ancient Weapon” used in the destruction of the Kingdom of Lulusia. This event proves his theory that the world is sinking and he apologizes to everyone for being used for it. Vegapunk goes on to say that Joy Boy passed the three “Ancient Weapons” to the future generations, though he doesn't know his motivations. He explains that there are still many mysteries to be cleared up, but that there is one group that knows everything, the former crew of the Pirate King. Meanwhile, York warns the Gorousei that she has come to the conclusion that the signal is being sent from the Fabirio Phase, the “iron giant” is protecting it. Vegapunk wonders why the Pirate King's crew didn't do anything, as we see Rayleigh drunkenly laying on the bar counter asking to not ruin the “fun” for the youngsters.

On a Marine battleship, Dragon threatens a superior with a weapon to allow slaves and inhabitants to come aboard. Saturn escapes on a World Government ship, while Imu orders that all traces of God Valley to be erased. Rocks was defeated by Roger and Garp, the Rocks Pirates were dissolved, but their reverberations would shake the world.

Vegapunk goes on to explain that his sin was getting too close to the Sun in an attempt to find an infinite energy source. But to understand what is going to happen, one must first understand what happened in the void century. To do this he studied the Poneglyphs, committing his other sin. Imu says that he has found the perfect warriors in the giants and that with them, neither Davy nor Joy Boy will rise again. The transformation finally affects Rocks and causes him to attack his own nakama. The clash with Newgate causes a shockwave that completely collapses one of the mountains of God Valley. All fronts begin to evacuate on ships. Dragon regrets not being able to save a simple child, while Kuma continues to search for survivors he can help escape. Captain John, Ganzui, and Shiki still fight over the treasures. Rocks reaches his wife and son just when they are reaching the shore. The Marine battleships fire at them to prevent them from escaping, but Kuma appears with his newly acquired ability and saves Eris and Teach. Imu orders Rocks to exterminate all remaining survivors. Both Garp and Roger are urged to leave the island, but both stay behind to face Rocks. In tears, Rocks asks them both to kill him.

In different parts of the world they are ready to receive Vegapunk's message, Mars tries to avoid it by crushing the Haishin Den Den Mushi, but discovers that it's an ordinary Den Den Den Mushi with a fake shell. The Gorousei no longer have any way to stop it, they don't know how much he may have discovered and fear that he will culminate what Ohara started. Meanwhile, Sanji senses Bonney in danger and comes ashore to attack Nusjuro. Vegapunk's message warns the world that it is scheduled to be sent when his heart stops, causing everyone to react to his possible death. Meanwhile, Saturn confronts the rest of the crew at the back door of the Labo Phase, Robin comes to recognize his voice from the events at Ohara. York tries to think about where the message might be being sent from, while the Gorousei gives up on the idea of destroying everything because that would mean losing the Mother Flame. Finally, Vegapunk begins with his conclusion, saying that the world will sink into the sea.

Meanwhile, Roger Pirates try to flee the island with the treasures, but suddenly they all begin to be drawn by Captain John's magnetic ability. This same magnetic force attracts Dragon's weapon and causes him to fall to the ground with Shanks. Ganzui realizes that Captain John intends to keep everything for himself and attacks him with an explosive snot. Garp rushes to confront Imu while the rest of the Marines try to stop him. Rocks, Roger, Newgate, Kaidou, Linlin, and Garp launch a combined attack on Imu. Amidst all the commotion, Shanks is drawn to the glitter of the treasures in one of the chests. Imu recovers from the attack and uses his "Domi Reversi" ability on Rocks to force him to kill his wife and child.

Meanwhile, the crew has everything ready to perform a Coup de Brust, but after the destruction of Vegaforce 1 they don't know if they will reach all the way to the sea. However, Edison has something in mind, and to do so, he decides to jump down through the Frontier Dome. Finally, Luffy's group continues to flee, unable to do anything against the pursuing Gorousei. What's worse, Saturn has managed to climb up to the Labo Phase and Nusjuro has reached the coast where the giants' ship is waiting.
