Attack Guide
Monkey D. Luffy
Luffy has eaten the Gomu Gomu fruit, thanks to it most of the normal attacks are useless against him. In order to be able to damage him it is necessary a very strong blow or manage to cut to him. As his power consists basically of extending itself and his main weakness are the cuts, he becomes an easy target for the cutting weapons, reason why he must be always on guard.
The great majority of his attacks goes accompanied of the words Gomu Gomu, "Gomu" can be the Japanese word for "Rubber" or the romanization of the English "Gum", reason why it we can consider it a words play.
Most of his attacks make use his Gomu Gomu, powers although he is not satisfied with that and he always experience new possibilities. Luffy has a great variety of resources to create new techniques, using its surroundings to his favour or even taking the state of his body to a new level.
