The man shares Shuri's heterochromia and confesses that this trait is what piqued Imu's interest in taking her away. Brook is unable to accept what he's hearing and the princess' personality change, to which Shuri responds by piercing Brook's head with her sword. Back in the present, Brook explains that at the time he was unaware of the power of the Akuma no Mi, he thought the "devil" was a figment of his imagination, but now he realizes that Shuri might have been a victim and asks the rest of the Straw Hat crew to help him save her. Meanwhile, Luffy has regained his strength after eating and heads to battle. Imu tells Loki that they have taken the children hostage because 800 years ago the giants surrendered to save them. Suddenly, Luffy arrives and punches Imu in the face.
