The school teacher is giving a recital explaining in poetic way to the citizens of Wanokuni what happened during the battle. Meanwhile, Momonosuke, Kinemon and Yamato run towards the port to say goodbye to Luffy. Yamato has decided to stay and tour Wanokuni, as Oden did in his early days. When they arrive at Tokage Port, Momonosuke rushes crying to Luffy asking him not to leave. Luffy gives him his flag, as a sign that they are now nakamas and that he will not allow anyone to do anything to them. If one day the three are willing to be pirates, they will come back to take them on their ship. Simultaneously, the professor's story reaches the point where Hiyori confronts Orochi, concluding with a reference to Oden's famous catchphrase.
