Momonosuke tries to push Onigashima aside while Luffy prepares his attack. Kaidou engulfs his entire body in flames managing to stop Luffy from grabbing him and prepares to clash attacks with him. The samurai encourage Luffy to defeat Kaidou as they recall the events of 20 years ago. After Oden's death, Oden Castle was reduced to ashes and the daimyos decided to fight rather than recognize Orochi. The country was reduced to a weapon factory where there was no food and the people were enslaved. Back to the present, Orochi sets out to kill Hiyori, but Denjirou appears just in time to cut off his last head.
