The inhabitants of Elbaf comment about a fire that has started in the forest, apparently due to the fall of the "God Ears" from the sky. Nami finds herself in a castle, where she has managed to defeat a giant bee with the help of Zeus. Nami thinks she has heard Usopp's voice and discovers that a giant cat is carrying him in its mouth. Nami is attacked by a giant hedgehog, but manages to electrocute it and flees from the cat along with Usopp. They both wonder if this could all be a hallucination caused by the sake, as the Kyohei Pirates' cook told them. Usopp decides to check it out, but is hit by the cat outside the castle. Nami falls after him and when she tries to rescue Usopp, she realizes that the cat has now turned into a lion. Luffy, Sanji and Zoro come to the rescue and manage to knock the lion down. Luffy suggests eating the cat or other giant animals as they did earlier with a rabbit.
