Momonosuke recalls the last moments before the time travel, when in the middle of the fire at Oden Castle he promised his mother to change things. Back to the fight on the roof, Luffy grabs the lightning bolts to attack Kaidou. Despite how unusual Luffy's ability is, Kaidou reminds him that Roger didn't need any to take over the world. In the Flower Capital, the flying ships with their wishes are released into the sky. Meanwhile, the fire has caused Orochi to get rid of the kairouseki nail and now threatens to take Hiyori with him. Finally, Luffy prepares a final attack that could destroy Onigashima while placing his trust in Momonosuke to do his part.
