Luffy's attack has left Kaidou writhing in pain, something that very few people have ever accomplished before. However, Kaidou manages to stand up and hits Luffy with the same attack that beat him the previous time. This time Luffy manages to take the blow, but Big Mom quickly tries to finish him off with Prometheus. Luckily, Zoro cut Prometheus in half by mimicking Kinemon's technique. Kaidou decides to test the strength of the young pirates for himself and begins to receive all their attacks one after another. Kaidou comes out of the rubble his dragon form lamenting that it will be a waste to have to kill them, but that battle is an inevitable step towards becoming the Pirate King.
